How to Export a List Of Properties Owners To Excel

Being able to export property data is one of the most important steps in your land investing workflow.

After filtering your list down to your ideal properties using Land Portal’s powerful Filtered Search tool, exporting the data allows you to take further action, whether that’s uploading it to your CRM, skip tracing owner information, or using it for direct mail campaigns.

Exporting to CSV or Excel gives you full control and flexibility with your list.

Step by step walkthrough

  1. Navigate to Map Search

If you haven't already, login to Land Portal.

Start by going to the Map Search in the left-hand menu from your dashboard.

  1. Apply Filters in the Filtered Search box

State: Georgia

County: Macon County

Lot Type: Vacant Lots

Acreage: 2 to 2.5 acres

Then click Apply to load your results.

  1. Click “Export”

Once your filtered data loads, click the Export button.

  1. Name Your Export

Give your export a name. This helps you identify it later in your Order History.

Example: Macon County Georgia 2-2.5

  1. Review Your Export Settings

There are three options you can choose to select:

You can have the export file sent to your email.

You can Remove Duplicates.

By default, properties without mailing addresses are excluded.

If you want to include them, uncheck the Exclude properties without mailing address option.

See how the total item number changes after making your selections.

Once you're done, click Confirm at the bottom.

  1. Download Your Exported File

Once the order is processed (typically within 10–30 seconds), click the file type to Download and save the file to your device.

You can also download it later from your Order History tab.

Now that you know how to export property data from your filtered searches, you’re one step closer to making contact and closing more deals.
